Our centre has conducted the first ever Multicentre International Collaborative Research to uncover higher prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors in the state of Odisha/Eastern India, which has been highlighted in the national media apart from receiving acclaim in India and abroad in the academic circles. This fact has also been recognized by the esteemed organizations like Cardiological Society of India, Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology, Paediatric Cardiac Society of India, World Heart Federation and World Health Organization by publishing the research data in their official Journals.
